This city was once considered one of the most beautiful in the Orient, and despite its recent turbulent history it still retains a colonial charm. A city tour includes the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom. Overnight in Phnom Penh.



Day 1 – Arrive – Phnom Penh (L,D)
Arrive in Phnom Penh, welcome and transfer to hotel. This city was once considered one of the most beautiful in the Orient, and despite its recent turbulent history it still retains a colonial charm. A city tour includes the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2 – Phnom Penh (B,L,D)
After breakfast visit the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields. In the afternoon shop for souvenirs at the Central Market before a sunset cruise on a local boat on the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 3 – Phnom Penh – Kratie
After breakfast, leaving for Kratie via Kampong Cham by private car, it will take 7hours on 340 Km from Phnom Penh. Arrived to Kratie provincial town by late afternoon and check in hotel. After that take a short tour in town before dinner. Overnight in Kratie.

Day 4 – Kratie – Banlung, Rattanakiri (B,L,D)
After breakfast, proceeds the journey by car to Rattanakiri Province, nicknamed ‘the Red City’ because of the omnipresent late rite. It will take 4hours on 243 Km road. Transfer to lodge. Drive by jeep on rough roads to explore the surrounding waterfalls at Teuk Cha Ong and Okatchang. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight in Banlung.

Day 5 – Banlung-Kroeung Territory-Banlung (B,L,D)
Drive north towards Laos and the village of Taveng. Cross the volcanic lava field of Veyrum Plang. Travelling north the landscape changes from primary forest to cleared forest, bamboo and bush. Stop to visit some Kroeung villages en route. The Kroeung people have the curious custom of erecting bachelor houses standing on long bamboo poles. These houses will remain so until the young man finds a wife. Only then will the unusual bachelor pad be destroyed. The time of year to see them is usually from February to August. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight in Banlung.

Day 6 – Banlung-Tampoun Totems-Banlung (B,L,D)
Leave Banlung heading northwest through bamboo forests to reach the village of Voeune Sai. This village is a Chinese enclave in Cambodian territory with most villagers not speaking Khmer. Upstream are the Tampoun villages, known for their funeral statuary or totems. Some of the best of the totems are in the village of Ka Choan, reached by boat or jeep. Return to Banlung for dinner and overnight.  

Day 7 – Banlung-Stung Treng (B,L,D)
There is time for early morning shopping at the Banlung market, before a short trip to the volcanic lake of Yak Lom, in a superb location surrounded by pristine rainforest. Swim or take a stroll around the lake before leaving to Stung Treng. It will take approximately 2hours and 30 minutes on 90Km. Arrived Stung Treng provincial town, transfer to hotel for your check in. In the afternoon explore this charming little town, its markets and pagodas. Overnight in Stung Treng.

Day 8 – Stung Treng-Kratie(B, L, D)
Breakfast and continuing your journey by car to Kratie, it will take around 3hours on 141Km road. On arrival in Kratie, stroll through town to check in at the hotel. In the afternoon travel 9km to visit Phnom Sambok and Kampi 12km north of town. Then, observe the river dolphins until sunset. Once you are at the Kampi dolphin viewing site, all guests are taking boat trip which we have organized for all of you to see the dolphins in the center of the pool (river). Overnight in Kratie.  

Day 9 – Kratie-Kampong Cham (B,L,D)
After breakfast, departure by road to Kampong Cham (165Km – 3hrs via Chhloung drive on a good road). In route stop at Chhoung Village to admire one of the oldest wooden house in Cambodia (Traditional house) and also visit a rubber plantation in Chup before arriving to Kampong Cham. Arrived in Kampong Cham, vist Wat Nokor Bachey temple, an 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine of sandstone and late rite and explore the town to see old colonial buildings and the daily life of the residents. Overnight in Kampong Cham.

Day 10 – Kampong Cham-Kampong Thom (B,L,D)
In the morning, On the way to Kampong Thom, stop to visit Phnom Pros (Man Hill) & Phnom Srei (Woman Hill), each with its own temple on the top. After that continued to Kampong Thom and transfer to hotel for check in. After check in, you will have a short City tour in town before your dinner. Overnight in Kampong Thom.  

Day 11 – Kampong Thom-Siem Reap (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Sambor Prei Kuk, 30km to the north, a pre-Angkorian complex of temples built between 616–635 AD. Continue your journey of 146km to Siem Reap. Arrived to Siem Reap and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12 – Siem Reap (B,L,D)
Breakfast and started your full day tours.
Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. Start with a visit to the Roluos Group of temples including Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei. In the afternoon visit the magnificent 12thcentury Angkor Wat. Return to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.  

Day 13 – Siem Reap (B,L,D)
An early start to catch the sunrise (optional). Return to the hotel for breakfast. A morning tour of the temples includes the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, The Terrace of the Leper King and Ta Prohm temple. In the afternoon continue to visit a famous Angkor Wat temple with view sunset on the top of Phnom Bakheng Hill or Pre Rub temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 14 – Siem Reap (B,L,D)
After breakfast drive to Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. In the afternoon, transfer to  take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake for 1hour (best from July to January), or drive back to Siem Reap town and visit old market and the workshops of Artisans d’Angkor (wood and stone carving).   Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 15 – Depart – Siem Reap (B)
Breakfast at hotel and free time at leisure till transfer to airport for your fly back to the next destination.
