What to See at Kirirom National Park
Preah Soramrit Kosamak Kirirom National Park is on Kirirom Mountain, Kampong Speu province, about 120 Kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The meaning of “Kirirom” is “Joyful Mountain”. This name was given to the area by King Monivong in the 1930s. This beautiful national park area was once a favorite resort for the influential, the powerful and wealthy and a retreat for King Sihanouk himself.The mountain is 700 meters higher from Sea level. A natural site, it once was Preah Kosamak town. This well conserved park, abundant in fresh air with cool breeze and is full of beautiful tall pine trees together with many kinds of wild flowers including Orchid flower. There are some larger wildlife in evidence on Kirirom, but it is an ideal to glimpse some of the country’s unique bird life and birdwatchers even come from overseas to visit. The national park is more interesting during or just after the rainy season. There are some interesting to see more such as a few water fall, Ex-King Residence Palace, many old houses and two Buddhist temples (Pagodas).
Day -1: Phnom Penh – Kirirrom by Private Car/Bus (L,D)
7h00 am, leaving to Kirirom and it will take approximately 2hours and 30minutes on 120 Km road.
On the way, we will have stop at Yai Mao, Kirirom for a short praying and group photo shooting.
Continued our journey and take a short visit to Wat Thmei (Wat Thmei Pagoda) with the monk blessing ceremony.
Note: You are required to pay your own contribution to the monks for your wishing great lucks.
11h30am, Arrived to vKirirom Pine Resort and proceed check in to (Bungalow, Luxury Tent, Khmer Cottage, Pipe Room or Champing)
12h30 – 13h30, Lunch at Pine View Kitchen where you can see a nice modern Khmer restaurant was build in the middle of the jungle of Kirirom mountain.
After Lunch, you will have one hour break.
14h30-16h00; visit plantations (organic farm) at vKirirom Pine Resort and local people at village. Return back to vKirirom Pine Resort and free time at leisure.
16h00-18h00; Recommended other Activities:
Team Building activities with many attractive games such as: Bubble Soccer competition, Cycling tour, football, Volley ball, Tung of War game and more.

Day-2: Kirirom Half Day tour – Departure to Phnom Penh (B)
7h00am, Breakfast at Pine View Kitchen
8h00am: Pick up by Car or pick up track and start your sightseeing tour to
– Ex-King Treasure building
– Wat Chass (Old pagoda) and continuing your jungle trekking– walk up to the hill on approximately 1,500 meters from Toeuk Sap lake to Ex-King Residence Palace.
– Take a short break and enjoy the amazing view of the mountain surrounding from the top of Ex-King Residence Palace.
– Visit the first Water fall

Lunch will be arranged by guests (it mean, lunch is not included in our tour today).
NOTE: We would like to recommend you to take your own lunch before leaving from Kirirom National Park to Phnom Penh.
